I created this painting with acrylic and highly texturized mixed media. Having observed and experienced the wonder of dolphins at play in the sea, I imagined how a dolphin might feel moving through the ocean currents, playing in the waves, and leaping into the warm sunlight, creating rainbows in the ocean spray.

It was painted on gessoed panel board and cradled within a handcrafted light pine framework so it is ready to hang.
