Inspired by visits to the tropics, this painting is reminiscent of the palm tree-covered islands, with their sandy beaches. The islands seem to float in perfect stillness between the calm blue sea and expansive blue skies and billowing white clouds, illuminated by the warm light of the sun. Created with archival quality acrylic paints on a gessoed hardboard panel. Signed on the front.
