Suggestive of a garden pond surrounded by colorful flowers. This mixed media painting is one of many textured works I have created through multiple layers of color applied with a pallet knife followed by other methods further enhancing texture. Inspired by the impressionism of Claude Monet and also later Abstract Expressionists.

Acrylic paint, sand and other mediums applied to a 1/8" gessoed masonite wood panel with wood strips adhered to back of panel allowing painting to project about 5/8" from wall. Archival quality materials and methods.

Signed and dated on back.

Painting is ready to hang.

May also be framed by the collector if desired.
