From the Crystal Forest Bamboo Vessel

One of a series of bamboo vessel sculptures inspired by the healing power of Nature.

This natural vessel combines earthy elements of wood, metal, and stone that I crafted from sustainably harvested locally grown bamboo.

The bamboo is preserved and enhanced with shou sugi ban (fire staining) technique.

Copper metallic accents inspired by kintsugi (filling imperfections with precious metal).

Natural quartz crystals wrapped in copper wire appear to be growing from the sheath scar at the base - a remnant of a branch.
